Went over to the west side of the state where catpiss (catbyte) said that obama signs are all over the place. Well. I put on about 400 miles and the ratio was aprox. 10 to 1 in Romney's favor.

I saw a lot of signs that read "Take back out country", with no mention of a candidate or any other signage around it.

From what I saw. MI is not going to go for obama.

Just another update.

In the last couple of days I've seen a Romney bumper sticker, a Romney billboard, and a yard with 5 Romney signs. The yard with the Romney signs maybe should be a concern to the Democrats at DemocratUnderground.com as that particular neighborhood has been predominantly populated by minorities.

I still haven't seen an Obama sign; however, when I spoke with my dad today he said he actually encountered a genuine Obama supporter in the wild. It's been over a year since I've encountered an admitted one in the wild.

Another update. I saw one Romney sign today, and my wife says that she saw on the news that a black guy somewhere has put up a billboard or sign that (if I understood her correctly) mentions Martin Luther King and supports Romney.

edit: Apparently my wife was correct. Don't tell her that I said that. Here is a link that I found: Texas billoard

Also, I finally saw an Obama sign. Romney is toast!!!!

That's ominous.

It shows that just a week before the election, Barack Milhous is recrudescing.

I hope you don't see any more.

Saw one Romney sticker at work, and one at the grocery store, and one on line in front of me at the drive thru. One Obama sticker on a truck.

This is in a Blue county.

I've seen a few O/B 'tampons,' and about the same number of RSquared stickers.

All of our yard signs are for state senator and the Republican challenger to the US House rep.  Both Republicans, and no other sign at all.  Today, I did see a RR yard sign, and it was not vandalized.  I saw a cute sticker on a car yesterday, it said

OMG
WTF

with the O being king zero's logo.

I haven't seen a single OB yard sign.

I was at a convenience store this morning getting some coffee and overheard two guys talking about Obamacare and how bad it was.  I said "Well, we can correct that in about a week".  "I sure hope so", was the reply.   I usually don't hear much in the way of political talk when I'm out and about, but for some reason I'm hearing more and more lately.  I get the sense that most are ready to vote and get this show on the road.

I voted today. I almost voted for Obama because I did see that one road sign which means that Rmoney is toast, but then Rove jumped out of the bushes and told me that I may as well just vote for Romney because it is an electronic voting machine.

I would have voted for obama just to watch the counter click for Romney.

Well, I'm leaning Obama, because for the last four years, he's been referring to me as "the enemy."  And his fans have insulted me continuously, calling me a stupid, redneck, racist, mouthbreathing teabagger ****stick repuke anti-woman neanderthal.  That convinces me.

Plus, "Willard Mittens RMoney" and all.  You know.

2008....every "black" house and every "black" car around here had Obama signs and stickers....I've seen one yard sign and it's in the yard of a "white" yankee.

The moonbat black woman uptown doesn't count....she has had Obama signs up and on her car for 4 or 5 years now.

This will be my final update because I don't have any traveling planned until after the election.

I had to make a trip out of town today to a little town called Waycross, Georgia. It was further than I wanted to travel, but they had planned on inducing labor on my nephew's wife today, and I had told them I'd try to be there for the birth of their first child. They decided to wait until Tuesday AFTER I had already made the trip. Regardless, it allowed me to continue my sign counting.

Based on what I've seen today I believe Rmoney really is toast. I didn't see any bumper stickers for either candidate, but I saw three (3) Obama signs. In contrast to this huge number of signs for Obama (3), I only saw thirty two (32) for Romney. Of those 32, two were a bit smaller than a full sized sheet of plywood. One filled up the rear half of a transfer truck trailer. And seven were advertising a "Take Back America" Romney/Ryan rally being held tomorrow at the Waycross Motor Speedway.

Based on what I've seen today Romney better get out his crying towel because in Waycross he's going down in a blaze of victory.

I see at least one to two a day. From what I can tell of the occupants, it looks like they are the govt. employees more than the soldiers, but occasionally I will see one on what is obviously a soldier's vehicle, and that surprises me. Talk about conflict of interest! :thatsright: I don't understand how they can support him. Of course, I remember being in the military when Slick Willie was in charge (deployed us more than the 5 previous presidents combined while reducing the size of the army :banghead:). So maybe I'm just a little jaded when it comes to Dem presidents.

I wasn't going to update this any more, but I had a change of mind.

I had to go to town today and took a route that I've taken in a couple of weeks. There were Romney yard signs everyone. In front of big businesses. In front of small businesses. In front of large houses. In front of small houses. I even saw a new billboard and a "Mitt" bumper sticker. It's like people have been on a Romney frenzy.

I did see one Obama sign in front of a union meeting hall.

In a bit or irony I was reading this post after having just read this LTE in the local fish wrap

http://www.seacoastonline.com/articles/20121103-OPINION-211030315

and then the same LTE later popped up on a friend's  FB page.   All of this only served to remind me that there are a lot of people who, to use one of Frank's favorite words, are discombobulated when confronted by those in the military who do not hold the same 'right wing' view  which they assume all in the military hold.

Having served in the draft era military I have never been under any such illusion.   This letter seems to confirm what I have believed right along, that not everyone who wears a uniform is aligned with the Republican cause or even the Republic for that matter.  I believe to think otherwise is delusional.
