I think the DU3 software allows the admins to search private messages and emails for keywords. That way they don't have to read all the drivel.
Skimmer also mentioned something about how DU3 would allow admins to view a member's Google search history.

Of course that would not apply to nadin.

Now you and Tucker have really done it.

To really understand just how closed minded DU is just read the Terms of Service to join up and compare that to ours here or anyplace else and then watch the island of misfit toys known as DU as they even talk amongst themselves. If anything resembles a police state it's that place. I would say that even at the old place bannings and Admins stepping in were not even close to the daily goings on over there.

And do they know that anyone, member or not, logged in or not, can hit the tweet button on a post and tweet it out to the whole universe and it can't be "scrubbed"?

My Old Man was a Chicago Republican until the day he died.

Then he became a democrat.

48. the head misfit over there (as Stinky calls him) IS a Freeper and posts some of the same stuff about DU on freerepublic.com. If you google the user name and freerepublic, you will find links to his posts and his profile on FR. If it's not against the DU rules to post FR threads, I ought to be able to post link to the misfit's profile here, but I won't.

I would like to see Skinner sue the site in question for copyright infringement, considering the fact that volumes of DU content are stolen, straight up, and posted over there.

I request this get sent to the jury poolz.

LOL, we should do a trial with a jury to decide if a post is deserving of being found guilty of lunacy.

The "Posts that stand alone" section is a gold mine. Imagine those posts becoming public.

Winter is Judy's favorite season.  She doesn't get as many strange glances as she trudges around the Milwaukie sidewalks, bundled up in three overcoats. People still wonder, though, about the little red wagon and the constant "pie shop" muttering.

You must have missed the message, Coach--it was upgraded after the 2010 elections.  It can hit 35,000 rpm without a problem.  I think it redlines at 40,000 rpm--but only because no one really wrung it out. :whistling:
