16. Two names come to mind immediately.
   
The first is Alan Grayson, who certainly has the moxie if nothing else. The second is Hillary Clinton. I read today, on DU as opposed to a legit source so take it with however much salt you like, that she plans on being SecState for one term, and that's it. This would free her up to campaign for 2016, and I don't see anyone in the party denying her if she's healthy and that's what she wants. Of course, in 2002 few of us had heard of a state Senator named Barack Obama. Someone could rise up.

Alan Grayson would be the choice of the left wing of the party, I suspect, whereas Mrs. Clinton would appeal to Democrats within the established circles of power (read, blue-dog Democrats). But it's awfully early for such supposition.

What a wonderful idea if Grayson was prez he would throw all us conservatives in jail.  :mental:

At that level, nothing is said or done, even to the slightest twitch without their being some reason or meaning behind it.  I think she was instructed to tell them Ecuadorians that such a lawsuit was in the works, but that was supposed to be handled between intermeidaries during a recess.  Since she said it publicly, it can be assumed that she wants to force Obama and Holder to move from a point of relative weakness.  The question isn's why she would do this, but what does she gain by doing this and what was the oppurtunity cost of her decision?
