That's been my argument for motorcycle helmet laws for a long time. Don't want to wear one...fine, but don't expect the rest of to subsidize your medical costs when you bounce your unprotected head off the pavement.
ditto what you said. The same for adults and safety belts too. We shouldn't be making laws that keep stupid people safe. If they aren't smart enough to figure it out for themselves....well......
