Trayvon Martin: New Black Panthers offer $10,000 bounty for capture of shooter George Zimmerman
SANFORD — Members of the New Black Panther Party are offering a $10,000 reward for the "capture" of George Zimmerman, leader Mikhail Muhammad announced during a protest in Sanford today.
The bounty announcement came moments after members of the group called for the mobilization of 5,000 black men to capture George Zimmerman, the Neighborhood Watch volunteer who shot Trayvon Martin last month.
The New Black Panthers will hold a protest in Sanford just before 1 p.m. today, the activist group's third protest in the past two weeks over the fatal shooting of the Miami Gardens teen.
The group called for Zimmerman's arrest and threatened to find and detain him if police were not willing to do so. But group members didn't call for the mobilization of thousands until Saturday.

The NBP is hoping to get this whole Zimmerman business wrapped up as soon as possible. They need to have their membership focused on patrolling the polls this November and don't want this to distract them from that important task.

Correct me if I'm wrong here but, if they didn't arrest Zimmerman yet and found him guilty he still owns a gun or guns and has the right to do so then? Those NBP people are so smart and willing to get more people killed for thier cause. Asswipes. Hardly worth the 10k to get your ass shot when the medical bill would be about that.

There are about 100 comments I would like to make but I can't do it. It would put CC in a bad light and I don't want to do that. Suffice to say that the justice system needs to keep a lid on this thing. If we have morons running around advocating the kidnapping of a free citizen then that moron needs to be arrested and face a few charges himself. If we don't stop doling out justice based on race we are digging a hole we won't be able to escape from.

It would rise to a Federal crime only if the NBPP snatches him and transports him across a state line. If they're really that stupid as to illegally detain Zimmerman and keep him in Florida it would only be a breaking the state law.
I think it's interesting that they can publically offer a "reward" for Zimmerman's "capture" and not run afoul of vigilanty laws or Posse Comitatus.

I will say exactly what I am thinking and screw any lurking DUmmies, the NBP is nothing but a racially charged terrorist group. They terrorized white people at the polls in 2008, and Eric "my people" Holder couldn't be bothered to even look into it. If some moron takes them up on that offer and kills Zimmerman or any of his family will Holder one again turn his head the other way?

Of course they do. They also think it's their right to do so. Like I said before. Mr. Zimmerman wasn't arrested and should still by law have his gun(s) and if he is attacked in any way then he may feel the need to defend himself and that 10k bounty isn't going to be enough to cover the hospital stay or the lawyers fees when they get to court for assaulting him and attempted kidnapping charges.

Now Obama cannot claim its a local matter, he has to come out and forcibly denounce the NBPP and threaten them with the law.
If Obama does not and something happens to Zimmerman the consequences will fall on Obama. It will be even worse if time reveals Zimmerman acted in self-defense.

The vast majority of black people don't agree with the idiots. The vast majority of black Americans live in the South. Anyone want to guess where all the vocal bLack pAnthers are from? The damn north. Down here, we live among each other. Sure, the ghettos and trailer parks are pretty much segregated, but all neighborhoods from lower-middle and on up are pretty diverse. There are no less than 12 black families in my neighborhood, a neighborhood that was 400k-2 mil, 2008, BO. My TH community is also diverse. I didn't even mention the Asians and Indians.

As I said in my earlier comment, couldn't just making that announcement get them arrested on conspiracy/ incitement charges?

That actually is near enough to the truth, but not in the way the DUmmy thinks (Considering it evidence that the NBPP was brought about as part of some big conspiracy by the evil neocons). Many of the original members of the Black Panther Party are not exactly big fans of the NBPP, the two groups actually are not technically affiliated with each other. It's sort of like how Fred Phelps' cult is called the Westboro Baptist Church, even though it is not connected to any of the official, recognized branches of the Baptist Church.
The original Black Panthers may have been radicals, but even they can see that the NBPP are a bunch of psychotic wannabes whose views are too extreme even for them.
