As a crippled up guy, it seems like a good idea, but needs considerable work before someonee like me could use it. I like the electric wheelchair that can climb stares safely......if it were sanely priced, $12,000 is just too much.

It looks like it's no faster than walking.  It might come in handy in large factories for supervisors that have to cover a lot of ground.  I've visited several large plants around here that have fairly big collections of bicycles available for use in getting around.

I can see where that would benefit someone like me who has problems with walking. I'd be somewhat leery of the balance things, though. I already have some balance issues. It doesn't seem like it would be terribly expensive. I must wonder how long the batteries would last??

No, they already use all of the scooters so the scooters aren't available to the truly disabled people.
