They will stand in the storm, real and metaphorical, when no one else will. That's why they deserve the respect of every American, man and woman.

Great video.

Our guys at the Tomb were told they could leave the mat during the last tropical storm that came through here about 4 years ago...on order from the President that they could seek shelter.

They stayed out there guarding The Tomb.

The Honor Guard guys that do the funeral missions from each branch of service are a special breed.

I'm curious as to why though when that video started it said that the video had been flagged for possible "community violations".

What DU sh*thead reported it?

I think the video was just fine, but many of the comments were way out of line.

I left a comment for the libtards commenting there.
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

What a debt we owe members of the armed forces. "Thanks" just doesn't seem to cut it.

We buried my uncle last month in Arlington. Well, not exactly "buried," as he was cremated and interred in one of the vaults. He was a WWII Army vet who served in the Pacific. The soldiers in his honor guard and the chaplain did him real honor. It made our family feel like the center of the universe, even though, I'm sure, his funeral was one of at least a dozen or so that day.
Let nothing trouble you,
Let nothing frighten you.
All things are passing;
God never changes.
Patience attains all that it strives for.
He who has God lacks nothing:
God alone suffices.
