What a debt we owe members of the armed forces. "Thanks" just doesn't seem to cut it.
We buried my uncle last month in Arlington. Well, not exactly "buried," as he was cremated and interred in one of the vaults. He was a WWII Army vet who served in the Pacific. The soldiers in his honor guard and the chaplain did him real honor. It made our family feel like the center of the universe, even though, I'm sure, his funeral was one of at least a dozen or so that day.
