Google wins back investors as 1st-quarter profit jumps 30 percent, easing economic worries
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Investors appear ready to embrace Google Inc. again after weeks of hand wringing over whether the faltering U.S. economy would bog down the Internet search leader's moneymaking machine.
30% in 1 quarter? Does that qualify as a windfall profit?
Where are the hearings about the greedy Google execs and their obscene profits on the backs of the poor...most of whom can barely afford innerwebz?
Where is Obama pledging punitive taxes?
Where is Sen John Dingel(berry) D-Mich proposing a fiddee-cent surfing tax?
Apparently these bursts of outrage are reserved for investment houses and oil companies...maybe they should apply for hate-crime protection.
