Obama's safety net: the TelePrompter

Not surprising, is it?

Obama's safety net: the TelePrompter

President Barack Obama doesn’t go anywhere without his TelePrompter.

The textbook-sized panes of glass holding the president’s prepared remarks follow him wherever he speaks.

Resting on top of a tall, narrow pole, they flank his podium during speeches in the White House’s stately parlors. They stood next to him on the floor of a manufacturing plant in Indiana as he pitched his economic stimulus plan. They traveled to the Department of Transportation this week and were in the Capitol Rotunda last month when he paid tribute to Abraham Lincoln in six-minute prepared remarks.

Obama’s reliance on the teleprompter is unusual — not only because he is famous for his oratory, but because no other president has used one so consistently and at so many events, large and small.

After the teleprompter malfunctioned a few times last summer and Obama delivered some less-than-soaring speeches, reports surfaced that he was training to wean himself off of the device while on vacation in Hawaii. But no such luck.

I suppose that, when you're as vapid and shallow as the Dems are, you can't think on your feet all that well.  I'll add more later, but for now, let's suffice to say that.

That's it.  The man is a robot.  LOL

Seriously, he truly has NO base philosophy that he can draw from.  Fundamental difference between an extreme leftist and....everyone else in the world.

Of course it was President Bush that the media declared to be stupid.
Other then being an opportunist, thug and all around sleazy politician O has not demonstrated ever an ounce of capability yet he is "brilliant". :whatever:

Agreed....it has been quite the opposite.

I fear, yet hope, that he'll **** up so badly people will demand he give answers to questions he's not prepared to answer.  Just once, I'd love to hear someone ask the question and end it with, "And please give me the courtesy of not using your teleprompter when you give your answer."

As Rush pointed out in his speech at CPAC, he doesn't need a teleprompter.
