Hey Joe, just do like Sen Albert Gore Sr did during the Vietnam War and pull strings to have 4 11-Bravos assigned to him to provide for his personal security and limit his activities in the combat zone.

Or better yet, instruct your son to do like John "I spent Christmas in Cambodia" kerry did and accidently ON PURPOSE suffer minor flesh wounds on three seperate occasions to get him sent home.  At least two of Kerry's Purple Hearts are questionable, especially the wound he received when he fired that M-79 grenade launcher and the round exploded on a rock close enough that he got shrapnel from the detonation.

 :whatever:

Besides the sappy nature of this article which does a very lame attempt to portray Biden and Obama as normal people (they are anything but), there is nothing inherently wrong about a father to be concerned about his son serving in a combat zone.  BSR, your straw men arguments ring hollow. Suggest you open yet another thread (you're pretty good at that, IIRC) or two to discuss what Kerry did with his grenades or what Gore Sr. did with his 11-Bravos.
