Title: California Cafe Re Masks ...
Post by: ABC-2 on May 29, 2021, 08:15:12 PM
In March, the establishment announced a 50 percent discount for people who threw their masks in the garbage, according to owner Chris Castleman.

Patrons are free to say what they wish at a California cafe, but doing so while wearing a mask will cost them $5.

On Sunday, Fiddleheads Cafe in Mendocino put up a sign stating the fee for those who wear a mask while ordering, NBC News reported Friday.

Quote
“I don’t think $5 to charity is too much to ask from mask wearing customers who claim to care so much about the community they live in,” he told the outlet in an email.

The proceeds will be given to Project Sanctuary, a domestic abuse organization, for two weeks before another nonprofit is put into the rotation, according to Castleman.

“It’s about time that the proponents of these ineffective government measures start paying for the collateral damage they have collectively caused,” the owner continued.

For those asshats who are pissed off at the policy, they are free to GTFO.

For those unfortunates who are still stuck in Commiefornia, hey, you are also free to GTFO. Life out here in flyover country ain't all that bad.

I can't imagine anyone paying $1,000 to see a dumbass rock concert, however. "Teenage Bottlerocket?" Good Gawd.....

Finally got my Logitech plug in mouse back from Mr. ABC,  (I hate using Touch Pads as does he, and he finally ordered one for each of his 2 laptops.) ... :yahoo:

Anyway, my opinion on the subject that  I posted, would have been the same as yours, Eupher.  Thanks!

Personally, since I have no idea, nor interest, in who they are ...

You would have to pay ME to see them!   :-)

If you don't like a business, just don't go there and patronize them.  When libs especially piss and moan about Chic-Fil-A and Hobby Lobby and other Christian businesses, they never shopped there in the first place so their boycotts are completely meaningless.  Same with those demanding vegan burgers from fast food chains.  Most libs don't go to Burger King or McDonald's anyway, they just love to express their faux outrage.

I'm wondering on what basis are the mask fascists complaining.

Masks and lockdowns go hand in hand. If someone is so anxious about wanting to wear masks, they shouldn't even be going out in public.

Ha! Ha!  Just a thought re the above, if most determined to wear them are virtue signaling  DEMS ...

They more than likely look much better with their masks on!!!   :rotf:

I'm not convinced that masks and lockdowns "go hand in hand." It became apparent to me that masks became in vogue as a fashion statement not long after the tyrants preached that masks were the be-all, end-all.

So for those shallow people who define themselves through the mask they wear, those are the type of people who would complain loudly about a business's policy. Once the mask thing is no longer a requirement, these cretins lose their identity. Shallow, thoughtless narcissists.

I'm mildly curious to see if anybody who insisted on not getting the vax actually ponied up $1,000 to see that concert.

Not enough to research it - but am wondering nonetheless.

Link to The Hill in the article says so far, no one has.

Quick scan of the bands, none of them look like the type who have fans that aren't running for the vaccine needle, and any who aren't are unlikely to have a grand laying around to spend on a show ticket.

I'm interested to see how many masks are at the show.  If everyone in there is vaccinated, it's safe, right?
