I mailed my own ballot on October 4, which is the earliest day we can vote by mail. Most everyone I know has already voted as well.
Now, I am actually on the fence about mail in ballots. I selfishly do it because it's convenient, and I don't have to worry about driving to the voting booth, etc., and it's real easy to do. Postage is even free. To me, it's a no brainer, and frankly, I advocate all individuals to consider that option.
HERE IS MY CONCERN: The socialists have not yet figured out that they can actually use mail-in ballots to their advantage. There is very little ID checking, and there is even a potentiality of far greater voter fraud; frankly, I'm amazed that it hasn't happened yet on a large degree. I'm sure some minor incidents have happened, but let's face it: If I were a student and a lib, I could actually get a lot of people to vote who otherwise wouldn't have voted for the bad guys, and legalities would be subverted in many cases. I can give several examples (but not in public; I don't want the DUmmies to see this).
So are absentee ballots a good thing, or not? Discuss...
