I do believe the votes were honestly counted, as they always have been, and that the votes accurately reflect the will of the People.

I'm just out of sorts because apparently franksolich is out of touch with the People, as shown in who the People thought should be the winners, and who franksolich thought should be the winners.

Yes, they were as always counted with accuracy.  I'm an accountant after all.

I don't always agree with the results, but I just count them.  No adjustments are made.  The people speak and I just keep track.

And a big thanks to all of you who took time to vote this year.  It was my pleasure to read all the well thought-out ballots.

I should have ended my post with an "/DU Mode". They always whine when elections don't go their way.

You must include, top of the list, that online East County Magazine that Nosey Nadin Abbott, Girl Reporter, writes for.

I couldn't remember the name of that one.

And there's another one with "Ocean" in its title, that I don't know.

The Poway News-Chieftan for sure's going to get a press release.

That would be the OB Rag, the "Ocean Beach Rag," or, more appropriately in Nadin's case, the "Emotion B**ch (on the) Rag."

Thank you, sir.

Well, I'm hopeful in not seeing some names in the bottom half of the list-  so long as they end up in the top half!

I'm confused. :panic:
When a DUmpmonkey "wins" the coveted top spot, are they truely winners,
or do we just reaffirm their absolute losership?

Is that a word?
Ought to be.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

The primitives think they're winners, but actually we're just confirming their losership.

It's that up-is-down, round-is-square, bad-is-good sort of life they live on Skins's island.

As long as Nadin is number 1, I don't care about the rest.  :-)

I know TomInTib was number 1 in 2007 and 2008.

If you recall, I was her campaign manager during 2010, as I'd been disappointed by her very poor showings other times.  I put my heart and soul and considerable sweat into getting her elected top primitive, as I felt very strongly and very passionately that the Die alte Sau was woefully underrated in the sheer intensity of her Hate and rage.

Well, I shoved her to the pinnacle, then got tired of her.

The dysmenopausal Kansas schoolteacher's now back in control of her own destiny now; I've got new campaigns to manage, myself.

Reminds me of Bill Cosby: I brought you into this world, and I can takae you out!  :rotf:

I'm pretty unhappy myself, the way it turned out, but the People have spoken, and one accepts the verdict of the People.

I'm trying my professional best to not let my disappointment show when writing the awards.

Only if it's on canned milk.  No way would nads want her face plastered on a carton of fresh milk that contains so many sieverts.

How dud Anne place so high?

She didn't post twenty original words all year. She became a C&P queen.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

As with the Bostonian Drunkard and maybe some other old-timers on the list of the top twenty.

Residual popularity.  She'll probably fade away sooner or later.  I wish the Bostonian Drunkard would.

She didn't post twenty original words all year. She became a C&P queen.
She's living in the afterglow of the imaginary brilliance that coach constructed around her last year.

She continues to benefit from an experiment he conducted on how to sway an electorate.

The Omaha weeper would be smashing through local and state politics like a sledgehammer if he'd accepted the similar offered assistance.

Instead, he'll suffer the humiliation of anonymous oblivion.

In a just world, Anne would share it with him, but her DOTY celebrity will endure.
