Anyone know how to make 'em? Taking requests?

Reason being I somehow was dinking around on the forums, went to edit something in my profile, went to post on another thread, and it was wrong, so I lost it. Wouldn't be a problem except I can't use any of the sigs saved in my pic folder for some reason. It will not convert from my C Documents to this forum for some reason. ARG!!

Anyway, could someone help me out?  :shucks:

if you already have sigs, but cant use em, how does getting a new one help?
did you turn off "show user sigs" or something?
are your current sigs in a normal format, jpg, png, gif? are you hosting them from a 3rd party site or from here?

as of right now it looks like you have some code issues.... ]/center]
did you mess up the code to show your sig image?

No I have show user sigs* on. I didn't mess with any of that. My current sigs are in my own computer folder. I'm really not good at deciphering whether theyre in the proper format or not though. Still have my Palin one in my own personal folder but it won't transition from the folder to the sig space. It will to the avatar, but that's not what I want at all.

I can tell you one thing for sure. I'm no techie...:(

If it's any help - your signature is created much like a forum post - with the BBCode tags like IMG , regular board smileys and text formatting codes.

I hope I'm not being too forward here, but there's a reason our good friend Revolution is having a problem with this.

Meh. That also has a lot to do with it, sir.

I think it's just the coding, and such though. On another forum I post at, I can just take the sigs I have in my documents, and insert them in. That's not the case here. I'll figure it out when I can bother myself to do so. Until then, I like my sig the way I have it set now. Simple, and yet speaks volumes. :)

Why not copy'n'paste the sig you want from your computer into a QUOTE, and we can look at it, and maybe diagnose the problem.

The one I want to put back in my sig is my Palin one. Its' a JPG file saved in my documents. Problem is, I can't copy'n'paste it into a post, can't do it into my sig. Can't drag the damkn thing into a post, and have it show. I think I did it wrong, cause when I do save the sigs, and pictures to My Documents, I basically just right click, and click "Save As." Then, it saves into my C drive.

It looks like I've been doing it wrong the whole time...

Okay , just like when you want to put a picture into a regular post - you must host that file online somewhere - photobucket or what ever.

Then you include it into your signature using the IMG BBcode.

Ah OK! So I'd need to transfer my pic in My Documents to Photobucket, and then transfer it to here with IMG tags. I can do that. Very many thanks, LC. I'll do that tomorrow, or something.

You do good, Revolution.

Sometime I have to do the wrong thing over and over again, oh, maybe twenty or a hundred times, before I realize oops, it's wrong.
