I just threw up in my mouth for a minute.

It was suggested on a round table that Jeb Bush might be sitting back looking at this field of republicans and decide to run!!

Great line by Matthews--paraphrased--"yeah who wouldn't love another Clinton-Bush matchup"...

Ugghh...me for one (raising hand).

1. Don't think for a moment that Jeb is not considering it given the state of affairs ....

2. Any Bush would be crushed.

The family is hated.

Now, franksolich rather likes the Bush family, all of them.

12. I wonder if this just isn't a huge scam

Seriously...I am a tinfoily kind of person anyway...proudly.

Throw in every radical candidate that you can...

Guiliani--authoritarian/totalitarian
Huckabee--Theocrat
McCain--war monger
etc etc

And just when the republicans are feeling that they are going to have to either stay home and not vote or vote for a Democrat...along comes someone who doesn't seem as radical as the aforementioned to sweep the nomination...making the republicans glad they don't have to vote for "those guys".

There isn't much in the republican party that isn't 100% vetted by think tanks...yet their field of candidates is so weak. Why?

3. No thanks, Jeb can jump off a cliff and do the world a favor.

And take that criminal family with you! I hear the Grand Canyon has a wonderful view.

5. Please God, let him run.

The way Bush has fractured his own party, running another Bush would ensure the political death of their party for at least a decade.

11. My sentiments exactly ...

Normally I would say that the Pubs are too smart to even think about running Jeb - but given the candidates they already have running, intelligence seems to be in short supply on their side of the aisle.

14. Jeb is actually the intelligent son in that family. If we had to have a bush Jeb would have been 1000x better than jr.

19. I don't know, I don't think anybody else would have messed things up this this badly, nobody in the world. Since there was no way out of getting a bush in 2000, Jeb would have been better I think.

26. Jeb signed PNAC, didn't he? Anyhow, he could've screwed us over more efficiently than W....

Since he's more intelligent I believe Jeb would have been less, shall we say, clumsy about screwing the country over and hollowing out the civil service. Very similar evil results.

They're waiting for a knight in shining armor to ride up and save them, but all they have are toads.

25. I hear George H.W. Bush is ready to run again.

*crickets*

I dunno; I never thought about it.

But since the primitives don't like the idea, it sounds like a damned fine idea.

Is it too late to start a DRAFT JEB boom?

The way I remember it...Jeb was the one that was being groomed for a future greatness...and then unexpectedly lost his first run at the Governor's office in Florida and George W won his gubenatorial race in Texas.

As fate would have it...George became President...Jeb remained Govenor.

But I'm with you Frank I like the Bush family and believe that Jeb would make a great President.

I just threw up in my mouth for a minute. Looking back over the past seven years, all the "BUSH IS SATAN, HITLER, EVIL, etc" posts here at the DUmp, all the noisy protests, and all the street drugs to make it all palatable, I realized just how impotent and irrelevant we are.
I am sick to my stomach.
What else can we do to convince the world that BushChimPeachment is the only recourse we have?

fixed...
