That scratching noise you've heard all week...

It's the sound of millions of liberals removing their "dissent is the highest form of patriotism" bumper stickers off their cars.

(stole that joke)
"When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed."

So much material for the next 4 years...

Mr. Eloquent's press debut consisted of lying about Nancy Reagan holding seances in the WH.... what a card and oh so presidential of him!

I think that was Mary Todd Lincoln with the seances. Gesh. Obama better be trailed by the nuclear football and the nuclear powered teleprompter for four years.

I can imagine their reaction the first time they see one on a car with a "Palin - 2012" bumper sticker.   :lmao:

I needed that image like I needed a hole in the head Obama in the White House.
Those who see their lives as spoiled and wasted crave equality and fraternity more than they do freedom. If they clamor for freedom, it is but freedom to establish equality and uniformity. The passion for equality is partly a passion for anonymity: to be one thread of the many which make up a tunic; one thread not distinguishable from the others. No one can then point us out, measure us against others and expose our inferiority.
-Eric Hoffer, "The True Believer", 1951
