This one was made for my youngest daughters 3rd grade teacher. She is having a baby any day now and we had a 3rd grade class baby shower for her today. I also made some burp cloths. :-) She seemed to really like it.

Beg pardon, madam, but what is a "burp cloth"?
I mean, I thought that was why people saved towels and rags, to use them for burping infants.
Now they have a special thing?

it's not especially cold where you live, is it? :-)

You would be correct. I found free instructions on how to make them and I had left over fabric so I decided to do it. Things have gotten quite fancy in the world of baby crap, you wouldn't believe it. Take a trip to BABIES R US sometime, it would blow your mind.

Well to tell the truth, it's kind of stupid to make burp cloths all fancy because the first time the baby pukes on it you will want to bleach it and you wont be able to bleach these. Most likely the first time she uses it and washes them they will look like crap. But it's the thought that counts. :p
