I never thought, not even ten years ago, that I would ever see "The Nazi Effect" in which a single party literally concentrates the Bad People under it's banner.

I think I would be a very scared and depressed woman tonight had I not posted here. There are tears in my eyes as I type this, realizing that you guys have truly helped me.

And now I must go put the daughter down for bed...she is special needs, and routine is important. She wants to talk about 'the man' today.

My, oh MY.  I know this DUmmy.  This DUmmy is the reason I found all you good people, in fact.

This DUmmy frequents forums that are non-political and quickly starts flame wars all over the place.  By the time she leaves, the place is in ruins, the members HATING each other.  In fact, it looks like she took this particular bouncy over to "phillyblog" and caused a huge uproar.

She's pimped her daughter and husband out in so many different incarnations, I can't even keep up anymore.  Last week the kid was a mensa candidate, now she's "special needs".  I supppose "special needs" wrings more sympathy out of her fellow DUmmies.

She's REALLY outdone herself this time.  This one is even better than the time she claimed to have had an "ambien meltdown", which caused her to shoplift some hemp lipgloss.

Actually, while I don't believe this chick's story and was laughing my ass off yesterday reading the thread and seeing how the guy actually came onto DU and called her out before he was tombstoned (bet she wasn't expecting that one!!!), this is one aspect that might be true. Hubby and I got a flyer on our door the other day from a gentleman running for state rep that had absolutely no party affiliation listed on it, not even independent. The only way we knew he was a republican was because this is a very rural, isolated area and we remembered reading his candidacy announcement in the local weekly paper awhile back. Now, it may have been because he figured everyone knew he was a republican, or he may have decided to run as an independent. But for whatever reason, he didn't have a party affiliation listed on the flyer and that's the first time either one of us had ever seen that.

So, you see, it does happen. And no, this isn't a "bouncy!" Oh, wait a minute! Did I tell you that my husband caught him trying to kick one of our cats out on the porch when he was putting up the flyers and he screamed at us that only Democrats would have cats so we must be Democrats and he was gonna kick not just our cats' asses but ours as well and come back and bring his posse to help him finish the job? Of course, we ARE Democrats, but we didn't tell HIM that!!! Excuse me while I go file a complaint with our local Barney Fife...................
