here's a thing about the pardons that i am wondering.

if ppl are paying for pardons, that's bribery.
so, guess what? y'all can go right back to jail.
and your lawyers can get disbarred.

just do your time, assholes. it'll be easier that way.

amirite?

1. That is a very interesting question

The issuance of the pardon is a criminal act if it has been acquired through bribery. That act seems to occur after the dating of the pardon. Chicken or egg?

2. The bribery won't be obvious

and hard to prove.
Scenario, one:
Felon hires high price lawyer to secure a pardon.Lawyer goes to Trump to plead his case. Trump says he wants 1/2 the lawyer's fee but agrees to take it in future pro bono legal work.
No contract involved, high deniability.

3. The attorneys say they're just charging a legal fee..

And the "clients" claim they're just paying a legal bill.

Of course, Elliott Broidy got arrested for trying to arrange pardons or dropped prosecutions for rich criminals in the 1Mb scandal.

Clinton? Mark Rich? Ring any bells, folks?

Yeah he donated his salary for 4 yrs, a 5 sec Google search shows Forbes magazine estimates the President's net worth at $3.1 Billion.  I'm sure his goal is to sell pardons at $5 thousand a whack.  ::)  I feel like I've overused the "rolls eyes" emoji today

Apart from them wishing Trump was corrupt, what is this based on?
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."
