No Democratic candidate should ever agree to debate a serial liar like Trump again unless
there is a fact check at some point DURING the debate.

Biden won, but debating a sociopath like Trump where every other word out of his mouth is a lie....where every other sentence out of his mouth is a disgusting accusation about the Democratic candidate....is only advantageous for one person: the liar. The other guy, the good guy, has to stand up there half the night shaking their head and laughing in frustration at the outrageous lies, and then wasting precious time when it's their turn to speak denying the lies and accusations that were hurled their way.

For the sake of OUR honest candidates, fact checking DURING the debate should become standardized in the future because, if there is no fact checking all the Republican liars, then not only will our honest candidates have to waste half the night away denying their bullshit, but all the ignoramuses in this country might never know the honest to god truth. It's long past the time that we need to put our foot down about this because truth should never be thrown under the rug during such a critical time.

1. Nah, the debates helped ensure Trump's downfall.

I would argue that he didn't benefit from them in the least, especially the first one.

Fact-checking would surely be helpful, but I'm not sure how it could be integrated into the process itself. For Trump, you'd need a couple dozen people just to keep up and you'd spend more time following up on his lies than actual debate.

The fact they're posting this is another signal that deep down, they know Biden most assuredly did NOT win, and that he and the Dems are getting their collective ass kicked, and they are quibbling about nonissues in a form of 'Whistling past the graveyard.'
