CNN pegs Trump's speaking time at 41:16 and Biden's at 37:53, a difference of 3 minutes and 23 seconds, https://www.cnn.com/politics/live-news/presidential-debate-coverage-fact-check-10-22-20/index.html. Star Moron relayerbob's hatred distorted his perception of time.

Why should a moderator adjudicate the truthfulness of statements?
The opponent should have a sufficient grasp of the issues and facts to mount their own rebuttal.
Kinda like Trump getting Biden to show his ass on fossil fuels and fracking.

The biggest loser in last night's debate was Chris Wall-ass who will likely be found sitting in a tub of warm water with his wrists slit. :fuelfire: Poor bastard was made to look like a putz by a skirt. :whistling:

OTOH, she interrupted Trump more often than she did Pedo Joe.

That was predictable, but it's yet another fact that was obscured by Star Moron relayerbob's Trump-Hatred.
The debate's "moderators" have gotten so grossly partisan these past several election cycles that the whole system needs to be gutted and recreated or scrapped and replaced. And partisan deck-stacking like not doing foreign policy should never again be allowed.

Considering the buildup about her background, it really sounded pretty balanced when I listened to it

President Trump commended NBC News journalist Kristen Welker for her work moderating the second and final presidential debate Thursday night, after previously clashing with the moderators of the first debate and his prime-time town hall.
“So far, I respect very much the way you’re handling this, I have to say,” Trump told Welker during the debate, despite dinging her for not quizzing Democratic challenger Joe Biden about his position on fracking.

President Trump and I agree with landofconfusion80.

Maybe she was more professional and was notably less partisan. Maybe she was satisfied with taking foreign policy, the economy, and crime/riots off the table; from what I've read, it was Joe Biden who brought Hunter into the discussion, not Welker or Trump. Or maybe the preemptive call-outs had desirable effect. Which was the case is probably not knowable.

Either way, lots of the commentary immediately after the debate had alot of people saying they approved of trump and how he behaved. Im sure this really won't sway any voter at this point but biden doing the same old standard politician talking points was noticeable to many people. Even trump was pointing them out

I didn't watch the debate but from this post and the large amount of butthurt attached to it at the DUmp, I'm guessing that Welker did a fairly good job at being an impartial moderator.

My theory is that Trump's "behavior" at the two debates was equally planned. One of Biden's debate tactics - e.g. in 2012 - is to make distracting smirks and gestures, and to interrupt. Trump over-trumped that tactic in the first debate. Then Trump did the opposite of what the punditocracy and commentariat expected him to do in the second debate, also intentionally. Rather than fume when his microphone was muted Trump, from what I've read, made notes for on-the-fly responses.

I do not have the link but I know Fox said she interrupted Trump 24 times and slo jo 2 times.
