But, but, we conservatives are all racist.  How can Cain possibly be ahead?

heheh   I like Herman Cain and he would be a kazillion times better than Bozo.

That was close enough to remind me. What was that monkey movie the liberals gave Ronald Reagan so much hell about? "Bedtime for Bonzo" or something like that wasn't it?

Now how do you like that, not only did the star of that movie, RR, go on to become president but his costar, the monkey, has too.

I think I must disagree.  Bonzo would have done a much better job than Bozo has.   :rotf:

Because if you believe Janeane Godawfulho and Keef Overbite, it's because we're hiding our racism that Cain is popular now...

The thing I like most about Herman Cain is he's gritty. He's go a can-do attitude and gives solutions when asked a question. It seems he is getting stronger and more confident with each public appearance. I was worried about him when he made that muslim gaff a few months back, but I think that is totally forgotten now.
Cain vs. Unable, a battle for America.

So, according to Garofalo, people like the black dude, because they really don't like black dudes...

That must be some real special stuff they smoke in Hollywood, because the disconnect from reality is beyond comprehensible.

I get to vote for him first!

I'm not worried about the foreign policy experience, or lack thereof.  Hell, it's not like Carter or Obama had any.

I am definitely not worried about that aspect because I am confident that Cain has that rare combination of brainpower and common sense that makes him not only a quick study, but also a fast and effective decision maker.

He will also have a very limited tolerance for the crap that Libs like to dish out.

Also, unlike the ego maniac in the WH, Cain wouldn't have a problem listening to and taking advice from more experienced and knowledgeable people. He is not a know-it-all.

It's probably already been mentioned, but it's worth repeating to some level.

Herman Cain appeals to the everyday person. He tells it like it is and is refreshingly honest. He also speaks in terms that everybody can understand.

These are things that the D.C. power base can't stand. Cain is a Washington outsider and I fervently believe that, because of that, he wouldn't be welcomed by either of the two political parties should he win the nomination and later, the election.

This is not to say that Cain shouldn't run or shouldn't do the things he's doing. On the contrary.

The indictment I'm proposing is the absolute shithole that D.C. has become. If you ain't a professional bureaucrat, politician, lobbyist, or leech, you're not welcome in D.C. because you make sense. You're trying to get things done. D.C. stopped trying to get things done years ago, other than to win reelections or to line their pockets with more taxpayer money.

Exactly.  He will listen to the theories, he will talk to the experts, but he will also pay close attention to the people on the pointy-end of the stick and find out what works and what doesn't. In truth, that's what is the most important.  As Richard Feynman liked to say, "It doesn't matter how beautiful your theory is, it doesn't matter how smart you are. If it doesn't agree with experiment, it's wrong."

Cain's too smart to listen to bullshit about things that don't work.  90% of the problems we are facing now, not just in America but around the world, are the results of policies implemented by well meaning idiots based on beautiful theories that simply DO NOT WORK.

If, and it is a big if, Cain were to win in a Reaganesque landslide, and both parties did their worst at foiling his policies, then you would see a bloodbath come the next congressional election cycle.

Which in my opinion wouldn't/couldn't be a bad thing.
