There isn't any reason for him to even do this speech/photo op since the major points have been leaked.

He's doing it there because it's an audience that is constitutionally madated to be respectful.  The cadets are props/tools for his image.  Nothing more.

Per Beck, the General requested 60k soldiers, with a minimum of 40k.

Obama is sending 30K... in the SUMMER OF 2010 (per fox news) :banghead:
