Because we live in a world of objective reality, in which if one strips away the contrived, deliberately muddied water, most things are fairly black and white, cut and dried. For example: A human being is a human being. A cat is a cat. There is no in between, half way, or middle ground. Sane people with an iq over room temperature understand this.
