Finally broke down and traded in the Jeep...

For one of these bad boys:

Same paint scheme, V-6 Ecoboost engine, 9600 lb towing capacity, Super Crew (kids love it) and almost as good of gas mileage as the Jeep.

Payments are a bit more, but I can live with that, believe me.

Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

Nice.  I doubt you will miss the Jeep.

Wonder if the mad dog (Cujo) still owns his Ford stock. :whistling:

Never going to trade in our Jeep, however it is time for us to get rid of our KIA and get a small automatic truck I can drive.    Due to nerve damage to my left leg I have not been able to conferdently drive standard with the clutch so-------

We are looking for a small truck with Auto drive.   So far everything we look at used costs more then what we paid for the KIA brand new. We bought her in 2001 just drove her to work and home, about 8,000 miles on her, dealer maintained all these years.  She acording to blue book is worth about $1,500 today, I bet a dealer could get $3,000 for her with the low milage and maintence records.

If I buy in Maine there is the lemon law be it dealership or private owner.   Taxes yes but some protection from the self selling crooks.

BTDT----Daughter found a car for sale in Maine and wanted the car.   Problem came up when the sellers would only sell it to her in NH. Since we were paying for the car we warned her, but she went ahead on the sale.   She had the car just two weeks when all went to Hell, nothing she or I could do she bought the car in NH-------Had she bought the car in Maine she would have gotten her/our money back.

We have found some honest sellers of used trucks in the area, we paid $1,000 for a truck with a camper shell and ran it for 3 years, I do not know why Hubby traided it in but Now I think I must ask. May have been when I was in the hospital in Boston, those days are a fog to me.

Not easy looking for a used truck or car.
