Great pics/video, everyone! A Crazy Con, lucky you being on the Riverwalk on a beautiful day like today! I have a business in Jesup, so I love Savannah. I don't have any decent pics, or video, I went to the massive behemoth in ATL. It was crowded for 5 blocks around. They were saying that there were 15-20,000 ppl there, but I think it was way, way more. People were packed in like sardines! We had to walk forever, and my hubby has a bad back, so we couldn't get close to the action. I tried walking around, but you couldn't get far. I heard most of it, but I wish I had of went to the one closer to my house, or even drove over to the one in Savannah, just so we could sit down occasionally or even mingle. Don't get me wrong, the excitement level there was awesome. The thing is though, we have got to make sure this isn't a one off thing. It has to just grow and grow. Otherwise the point will be moot. Oh, BTW, there were a good many folks of color at the one in ATL, and from what I could hear ppl saying, Democrats, too. And ZERO fighting or violence, that I saw or heard about. Try that, libs, with that many ppl in downtown ATL, never would happen! Conservatives Rawk!

Oh, I wasn't actually able to go, due to the injury to my foot caused by the breaking in of new shoes (don't want to gross anyone out, so that's how I'll describe it. LOL)  I am living vicariously through the photos and videos that I find or have sent to me by those who did go.  :lmao:  Savannah's weather was absolutely perfect and my friends who went were telling me all about the fun... they were disappointed in not getting to view a real-life moonbat... they apparently knew to stay in hiding down here. :p

I hope there will be more Tea Parties in the future, and not just the one being considered for D.C.   Even if my foot undergoes another injury, I'll be there on crutches.  :cheersmate:

I know.... I look like a hobbit :-). I am 5'3" and I have a slight heel on. I didn't think he was taller than 6'3" or so, but maybe he is. It sorta looks that way.

John Hawkins at RightWingNews has pictures and links to other tea parties.  Some of the signs are great.

Chicago

Dallas

Nashville

And the entire counter-protest in Madison, Wisconsin.  All three of them.

A few commenters on another blog are suggesting a bigger protest in front of media buildings like CNN or NY Times. They wouldn't be able to ignore us then.

But I bet they would try.

Wasn't able to show up, but only in spirit. They should do this more often. Yes, it would be a cool idea to protest in front of CNN and NY Times, it will get more attention.

Great reports, frank and schade!

Schade, the capital building behind you is so pretty!

I think MN's capitol building has been considered by many to be among the most beautiful and artistic in the nation.

I can't take credit, my buddy created that sign. It got a lot of attention though.

I saw one report yesterday where they showed a guy "open carrying" a sidearm. I thought to myself that it HAD to be MN. It sure looked like St Paul at the Capitol.

There have been "conservative" head counts about the one in Oklahoma City at around 8,000.
