I suppose if you had "NO FLAGS" in your lease, and you signed that lease, the apartment complex would have some sort of legal standing. Of course, the lease covers the building and not vehicles. Plus, "NO AMERICAN FLAGS" would probably not hold up in court even if it was in your lease.

I dunno, I can't figure out why these people thought they'd be able to enforce such a ban. It's stupid. And why would American flags cause "problems?" Al-qaeda cell live in the building?

Again no debate at all, just hate monguering.

You mean like this?

Quote
KVAL News asked whether she had talked to the resident who originally went to the media with the story.

"He's just a romping, stomping patriot," Holcomb said.

The point is that they can't have a double standard, they can't say you can fly your U.S. Flag but Horatio can't fly his mexican flag, I like the American Flag and We have one outside my development, we also have an HOA and they allow you to fly a flag but you can't put up a flag pole in the yard.

A property owner in the United States should be able to limit the types of flag displayed.

It would be unfair to say you can fly one but not the other and if it incites violence then all being banned would make sense, i dont neccesarily agree but it just makes sense, im sure she doesnt hate america.

As Rob stated, the property owner can choose to restrict flags on their property, but not abridge the tenant's rights to speech, which is what banning vehicle flags was, without a clearly stated and previously agreed to policy in a binding contract, ie a lease.

And I think you'd be surprised to learn that in other countries, it IS illegal to fly a flag of a nation other than that country, for example Mexico.  How's that for fair?  We can't fly our flag if we move there legally, buy land, and pay taxes while recieving nothing from the public coffers, but a lot of them come here illegally, mooch off the system, pay no taxes, and then fly their flag anyway...

Are non-citizens even allowed to buy land in Mexico?  Do they allow immigrants to become citizens there?  Why anyone would want to is beyond me.

No, non-citizens can't buy land in Mexico, but they can lease it for 100 years.

from what I understand, immigrants can become citizens if they bring enough money, but they can never vote

.....like sending all their "extra" citizens elsewhere for someone else to support?

I was thinking more about the "not letting immigrants vote".  Having their military guard their southern border to keep illegal aliens out.  Just some small things like that.

Mostly because pretty soon all the trash is going to be north of the border! Mexico's a damn nice place when you get into the interior where people actually WORK for a living! They may not have a lot, but they would share it in a minute if you were in need. We're gettin' the MS13 and the like. Mexico can't handle them, so they're sending 'em north!

First off, WTF does "submize" mean?

Get ****ED!! I've read enough of your ****in' drivel to know RIGHT where your sympathies lie! You're nothing more than a liberal snake in the grass, coming here to push buttons. You rely on our policy of lettin' asshats like you speak your opinion. You could care less about facts, patriotism, or American pride. You're just here to stir up shit. That line, " I'm just here to listen" don't fly with me! I've dealt with too many creeps that think the world owes them a livin'!

You lack the courage to say what you think in public for fear of somebody puttin' a boot in your ass! At least around my neck of the woods. No doubt you live in some like minded Blue domicile. It's the only way you feel safe! You ain't foolin' me in the least! You're nothing more than a, "The government can do a better job" neophyte!

LEAVE! You're certainly not appreciated here! I've often wondered why you DUmbasses stick around us "red necks"? What are you some S&M freak?

Websters doesn't list words that you make up.  I'm guessing the word you were looking for is surmise and the last definition fits you perfectly.

Quote

v.tr.
To infer (something) without sufficiently conclusive evidence.

v.intr.
To make a guess or conjecture.

n.
An idea or opinion based on insufficiently conclusive evidence; a conjecture.

You really should go back to your high school and ask them to teach you how to write properly.

It is sad that a self proclaimed college senior like yourself has such a poor grasp on the written language.

Maybe she meant surmise or summarize?  Maybe she should invest in a Webster.
