As the war in Afghanistan nears the start of its ninth year, a group of anti-war protesters gathered in front of the White House today to express their disappointment that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are not yet over, and to request a meeting with President Obama.
An estimated 500 people from different anti-war groups gathered on the sidewalk in front of the White House. A few chained themselves to the fence, some laid down on the sidewalk as if they were dead, and others chanted: "mourn the dead, heal the wounded, end the war!"
The protest was peaceful, though U.S. Park Police said that 61 people were arrested for failure to obey a lawful order after the crowd was repeatedly asked to move back from the sidewalk. According to Park Police Sgt. David Schlosser, all were cited and released. ...

I gotta give her props for consistency. At least you know where she REALLY stands.

Teh DitchWitch should visit Afghanistan....soon....real soon. Maybe a tour of the mountains on the Pakistan border would improve the situation.
:uhsure: :innocent:
-
I understand her loss but don't they make rubber rooms for people like her and provide a special jacket as well?
-
I can't relate to her loss.
But my opinionated mind believes her actions dishonor her son, his memory, his bravery, his decision to volunteer into the armed forces....
But yes, she is consistent and passionate, I'll give her that.

Yeah that.

Being arrested by male police officers is the only physical contact she gets with members of the opposite sex. They just don't allow people to get that drunk in the bars anymore.

Couldn't agree with you more on all of the above. What kills me is that the very same people who would send her money when she was hanging out in Crawford, now think she is a looney tune for doing the same dang thing with Obama.

Not to worry, the "boob in chief" has his feet up on the desk in the Oval Office right now.

I was gonna say, she stopped being a "useful idiot" on November 5th last year. Did nobody pass along the memo to her. You know, the one promoting her to "Idiot, 1st Class"?
-
Obviously, the She-Hag is a racist.

I thought her 15 minutes were up last year.

I feel sorry for those officers. They look a little green around the gills.
I sure hope they've had all their shots.
-
I wonder what would happen with these Lib protestors if they were ignored like the 912 protestors... Really - I wonder.
-
You gotta admit, liberals are way better at protesting. No sir I will NOT step back from the sidewalk! FIGHT THE POWER MAN!!! SHOW THOSE PIGS! YE- oh hey does anyone have any doritos?

Why are they carrying the Sheee-hag??? Just grab one of those bony ankles and drag her away.
-
The grin on her face makes me want to slap the hell out of her
-
I wouldn't touch that hag with your cuffs! I think I would hog tie her and cary her off like so much road kill! Just seeing her picture gives me a bad case of the "limp dick"!

Oh All, what do we know of what road grief will take us.
Loosing a loved one, especially a child leads people to MADD, and support groups for everything from children who commit suicide to drug overdoses, kids killed in random shoots bys to death by disease.
All, you cannot tell a parent how to grieve for the loss of a child from any cause.
Imagine someone loosing a child to a drunk driver and at the funeral the Union of Bartenders with crew show up. They castigate the parents and show a graph that claims to show that more kids die from Cancer then are killed in drunk accidents.
Same thing really, this woman lost her son by war. Everyone that has lost a loved one from grandpa to infant wants to know WHY.
Someone we loved died, WHY, How, and how do you handle the loss.
One has a death in the family from Cancer and loved ones contribute to society's that try to find a cure so other people will live. To make sense of the death these people hold fun raising and public awareness of that disease.
Here is a woman caught behind a rock and a hard place. Her son died for America but in a war that is not really a war. A war means that both sides go all out to over take their enemy. She has to face the fact that her son was a useless piece of cannon fodder, his death meant nothing in fact. It seems like this is all a game and he just happend to become a pawn on the chess table.
Got to give the lady credit, she is one heck of a Mom and has devoted her life to getting answers. So people think she is a nut case, what does she care--she is greaving for a lost child in the only way she can.
Mothers out there that have lost children from any cause will understand how it feels to loose a child and they do not need to be Bi*ch slapped and told to grow up.
-
I have lost loved ones in Iraq and have family over there now I do understand her pain but and this is a huge BUT sometimes you have to grieve in private and not out in the public eye so much as well.
-
I understand her loss but don't they make rubber rooms for people like her and provide a special jacket as well?
Only if you're Conservative/REpublican and continue to support the WoT after you've lost a loved one.
If you're a DUmmie in the same situation...you become the "face" of the anti-war movement.

Oh yes the big smile on her face laying on her sons "unadorned gravesite" certainly shows how much she's mourning. :whatever: She's just an attention whore and that's why the rest of her family dumped her like the sack of sh*t she is.

My sentiments exactly! This poor excuse for humanity is disgracing her son's memory! Even her husband agrees withthat sentiment. So ESAD VESPA!
I guess bringing freedom to 50 million people is a waste of time in your anus where you live!

She has to face the fact that her son re-enlisted five months into the Iraqi War and eventually chose to participate in the very battle that would take his irreplaceable life because he believed in the effort.
Fixed.

Here is a woman caught behind a rock and a hard place.
No she's not. She made a choice a LONG time ago to use her dead son as a cheap prop for her own 15 minutes of fame.
Her son died for America but in a war that is not really a war.
Once again you show that you have no :censored: clue what you're talking about.
Hitting the bottle extra early today are we?

You stupid...ignorant...useless tw*at...how dare you say that about someone that in his pinkie finger posseses more courage and integrity that you can muster in your whole pathetic body!
Casey, like myself and everyone in the military today knew what they were getting into when they raised their right hand.
His death meant EVERYTHING to those of us that serve. Even if we didn't know him personally he's a family member that died. I know that is a concept you'll never understand but it means a lot to us. It means a lot to the soldiers that served with him and it meant a HELL of a lot to the guy whom Casey took the place of on that patrol where he gave his life.
Casey was no pawn...but you certainly are a useless tool.
Got to give the lady credit, she is one heck of a Mom and has devoted her life to getting answers. So people think she is a nut case, what does she care--she is greaving for a lost child in the only way she can.
She's used him to become a publicity whore. Standing on the grave of her dead don playing the grieving mother only AFTER she realized it would make her popular with someone.
She hasn't even had the common ******* decency to buy him a proper headstone.
Mothers out there that have lost children from any cause will understand how it feels to loose a child and they do not need to be Bi*ch slapped and told to grow up.
99.9% of the mothers that have lost children to war don't use their son or daughters memory to propel their own selfish interests.
Cindy and you both need that bitch slapping and reminder to grow up it appears.

First couple of times I read your post, I thought the highlighted word said, "crotch".
Sorry.

OK folks, I forgot to put the
in that outrageous statement made by one of her so called supporters as she camped outside the Bushes Ranch,. From Time/News week as best as I can remember it.
For you who don't know me, MY youngest son went into the Army and came home 2 years later with a 100% disability. My boy is crazy as a bed bug. His equipment failed him as he was repelling into ice crevasses in Alaska. Poor kid fell on his head and has seizures and at times looses his memory, short term. Not to mention all the broken bones and internal damage.
For those that do know me, I cannot understand why you did not realize that I was not speaking for myself. I have been a Navy Brat from birth as have my 4 kids, nothing is easy about living as a dependent and never knowing if your loved ones will come home in a box or so changed by what ever happend to them while gone that a complete stranger walks or rides in a wheel chair in the door, be it husband, wife son or daughter.
On the other hand, the service personal have to do their job and worry about the family they left behind.
There are times when I do leave out a few words [ as has happend before and caused an uproar ] and I apologise for causing anyone any grief. If this happens again I give Sparky permission to come to my house with his Black and Decker drill and trepanned my poor old gray head.

Apology accepted, vesta--but for future reference, please try to separate the opinions of others from those of yourself to help alleviate confusion.

Apology accepted, vesta--but for future reference, please try to separate the opinions of others from those of yourself to help alleviate confusion.
Thank you Sparky, YOU are a true gentleman.
Now back on topic, this poor woman is being used by others and in couraged to think the worse. They pay her expenses to travel about mouthing the words that others have put in her mouth. Would she alone without people that fawn over her, use her for their agenda and keep her maternal instincts alive and angry allowed herself in the first place to to be used?
At this point I suspect she has had her grief jumbled by those that want to keep her angry and confused. The question is, at this time has she moved beyond grief into the crazy world of people that manual her, use her for their own purposes.
Or has she grown use to the attention, does she feed on the attention and find she needs it to survive??
It brings to mind the [ Balloon Boy] People that use their own children to advance their career, living or dead.---------------
-
I suspect Cindy LIVES for this attention. (Not that she isn't being used.)
