I will not stand for a special election in 5 months!
Deval Patrick must given the power to appoint an interim senator.

6. Ironic, isn't it? Still, that law should be honored. It shouldn't prevent an interim though. nt
Not ironic just typical of the democrat party change the rules to benefit themselves then bitch when the rule backfires.
-
Change the law to say that if there is a D gov something different happens than when an R is Gov, so you'd just have to be honest.
That'd require honesty :thatsright:

There is an old saying - 'Live by the sword, die by the sword.' -- The one thing that you primitives and the MSM are missing (accidentally, I'm sure....) Is that the person who urged the change in policy during Kerry's run for President is Senator Edward Kennedy.

That would be the late Senator Edward Kennedy. To hell with him.

Another instance of the primitives' impotency:

I predict the "new law" to allow an interim replacement will be on the Governor's desk by Friday.

And when he gets there I suspect he will be greeted by a full contingent of "do as I say not as I do democrats" along with assorted other Marxists friends he has made along the way.

8. Amen. It's not about laws or statements. It's about doing what is right.
Into the mind of a DUmmie. "It's not about the law, it's about 'what's right'".
What's right to whom, dipshit? You? That's why we HAVE laws. Hell, some people may think it's right to rob a f'n Brinks truck.

Reap what you sew idiot. The Libs changed the law to prevent Romney from appointing someone when Kerry was running.
Welcome to the Law of Unintended Consequences.

All flaming liberals become staunch conservatives about two minutes after their earthly death. I'm sure ol' Ted is still quite confused by it all.
I pray our Lord has mercy for his soul. Ted Kennedy wasn't a bright person. He was not particularly smart. I pray our Lord takes that into consideration.

I would say that most DUmmies would find a way to rationalize doing that too.

Anarcho-liberalism.
Drop a pencil, its nobodys' property any more. That pocket watch in your top drawer? You're not using, its fair game.
Own a factory but you never go there? Too bad, it belongs to the workers now you absentee owner.
Don't assume I am making it up.

That is excuse used by ACORN to break in and re-occupy foreclosed and vacant homes.
