If you were able to obtain insurance or you're now paying less for your insurance, just tell those people around you about it. If you know someone who has benefited, tell people about that. If you're on Medicare, like I am, you can talk about how that system provides excellent health care, primarily on a single-payer basis. Let people know that healthcare doesn't have to be a high-profit, exclusive thing. Remind them of the 8 million people who are now covered under ACA. If someone wants to argue, just say, "Well, I don't know about that, but it sure has benefited me and my family." Thanks.

I have no power to compel anyone to do anything. I can only make suggestions. I even said "please." I'm not sure what the reason was for your objection, really.

Let's just say your OP rubbed me the wrong way.I know you are all about "get out the vote!", but I don't think people should have to spread propaganda or political messages to their family. Let's just say I found it an annoying OP.

Nothing speaks to the renewal of life in the spring like thoughts of searing the unborn in heavily concentrated saline solutions or puncturing the base of an infant's skull and siphoning out the brains.
Well MM, I regaled the dinner table with my Obamascare success story.I’ve been on my wife’s health insurance plan. But thanks to Obamacare, I can now get rid of my wife.
