Not one word tonight on NBC news
They talked a lot about wall design and declaring a national emergency but not a single word about why a wall is unnecessary and the overwhelming evidence that backs this up.
where is all that evidence that you speak of? Surely Nancy and Chuck would lay it all out for us? Right?

5. Nightly news is topical and brief
A print reporter might focus an analysis piece on "why a wall is unnecessary and the overwhelming evidence that backs this up" but this isn't what nightly news does.
NBC has, however, imo, gone overboard to give time to mush news (i.e. "Inspiring America" stories that newsrooms call "brights."
