Title: AGW Toady Upset AGW is NOT to Blame for Extinction
Post by: SSG Snuggle Bunny on March 06, 2010, 09:09:58 AM
SYNOPSIS: Golden Toad goes extinct. Scientists argue if AGW is to blame because there was a "dry spell" from 1986-87 (ironic because a 2-year "dry spell" was supposed to be prima facie evidence of AGW but centennial snowstorms cannot be used as a refutation).

Anyhoo...

...it turns out it wasn't AGW but el Nino (how long until el Nino = AGW?) causing the dry spell and when the toads packed themselves into the remaining ponds and puddles like so many queers in a San Francisco bathhouse a fungus not native to those environs was introduced by means unknown and killed the poor widdle toads.

How did the scientificalists take it? With calculated dispassionate objective empiricism?

No, they took it like any other liberal activist more interested in re-ordering already functional societies to meet their twisted daydreams: the absence of crisis is a crisis...

“El Niño pulled the trigger,” contends Kevin Anchukaitis of Columbia uni in the States.

“There’s no comfort in knowing that the golden toad’s extinction was the result of El Niño and an introduced pathogen, because climate change will no doubt play a role in future extinctions,” he adds.

TRANSLATION: "And I would have gotten away with it too if it hadn't been for those meddling facts!"

No doubt your idiocy is settled science.
