Emails started flying last weekend. The management came in on Monday. Doug called in sick on Monday (big mistake on his part). Doug got real quiet. Doug deleted his own post yesterday I believe. And he disappeared from the website today.

Guess. Management took a few days to let the info filter through their pointy heads, and Doug writhed in misery and doubt. The incident took fire on the net. Regional Dealership managers became aware and wanted in on the discussions too. That sealed Doug's fate. Even if local management was willing to give hinm a chance Regional types didn't want a guy like that with access to personal customer information.
Dain Bramaged is walduded.

No. The heat is with management. If he is still there, the boss may have ordered this move...just to stop people from calling to see if he is still employed.

Three possibilities:

1) Doug was fired.

2) Doug was reprimanded, kept his job, and his picture was taken down, just to reduce the bad pub.

3) Doug took down his own pic, since he is in major CYA mode.

Which of these three it is, no one yet knows.

DainBramaged created his own scandal out of something that would of been forgotten if he did not lie about it. This is the biggest DU scandal in quite some time.

I can think of a 4th. When we were zeroing in on Mrs. Dawson, she went to skimmer and had her profile reworked to Demtenjeep from Greenbriar. I fully expect Doug Bulna, (maybe) late of Gearhart Chevy, to do the same.

This being a union holiday, skimmer may be spending DUmmy money and hasn't gotten around to making a change. Until then, it's keeping a low profile. DU is like a drug to a DUmmy though. They can't stop indulging. At any rate, I suspect that Dougie will go covert. Both at work and at play.

Well, in the absence of the brain-damaged primitive, whose going was rather, uh, abrupt, there probably wasn't time to get a new systems administrator hired yet.  It's possible that someone on the staff who has at least rudimentary knowledge of web-sites is filling in for the moment.

And one can't expect perfection from an amateur.

I'm surprised nobody thought of that possibility yesterday; I did.
