I seem to recall talk of about lots of Republican owned dealerships being reorganized out of existence.   But yes, I too thought they were semi autonomous.

In some cities, like Chicago, every thing is unionized. This includes car dealership employees. Both sales and service.

Well my sisters bro in law is a union thug that works in a non union state for Chrysler, How they get by with that is they are paid out of Detroit. Now he does not work for a stealership, but he works in the parts depot. He tells me proudly that there is more union in my state than I know.

I would have sued under the grounds that being subjected to FOX News is akin to Racial and Sexual harassment. Even if I were white, I would have sued for both reasons (FOX News being an embarrassment to white people everywhere). Any attorney (and I should know, I am one in NY and NJ) who would institute an action based on your reasoning would be incompetent, and likely face sanctions, particularly in federal court. In my career, I've both assisted clients with claims before the EEOC and related state and city agencies, and defended companies against charges, and even the very, very liberal employees of these agencies would tell you how they've heard the Fox news allegations for years, and ask if you had any real evidence of discrimination or a hostile work environment.

We went to the dealer I've bought cars from for 30 years, the local Chevy dealer. We walked around the lot unmolested and she discovered the Chevy Cruze, and loved it. We checked the used car lot and they had only three, one was a one-owner very recent 4 door LT. They let her TAKE IT HOME on an extended test drive. NONE in the shop, ZERO. That did it. They didn't ask how she was going to pay for it, were GREAT with her, and closed the deal giving her a substantial discount off the advertised price PLUS a HUGE amount for her trade, over and above what it was worth. She had over $2000 left from what she anticipated spending after trading in her old car.

That really is going above and beyond for customer service maybe he works there?

He likes to drive around Lake Hopatcong in the fall to witness the changing of the leaves, he starts on the east side of the lake and takes roughly 40 minutes to come back around to Route 46.
