Never happened but it does demonstrate the low IQ, pettiness, and pure hate of your average DUche.

After the great republican dealership purge under Obama's $50 billion dollar bailout, I find it difficult to believe a GovMtr dealer would have Fox on.

When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Are dealerships unionized? i always thought that they were independent contractors working under the corporate charter.

I seem to recall talk of about lots of Republican owned dealerships being reorganized out of existence.   But yes, I too thought they were semi autonomous.

When you're 62 and make $24K a year, I guess you have to make your own fun.

Dain - sorry you're an old man with almost no marketable job skills. You don't have to take it out on people who are less bitter than you, you piece of shit.

Well, I suppose the ass is bitter because he's having to pay off the IRS for taxes he evaded during the preceding presidential administration, and apparently it's more than chump change.

And I hope his ex-wife is getting bundles of alimony from him, for having endured his sour, negative, pissy attitude at least long enough for him to father a daughter by her.

If dealerships are not unionized, the DB is a rebel without a cause. He's a one man union and pays dues to himself.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

In some cities, like Chicago, every thing is unionized. This includes car dealership employees. Both sales and service.

Well my sisters bro in law is a union thug that works in a non union state for Chrysler, How they get by with that is they are paid out of Detroit. Now he does not work for a stealership, but he works in the parts depot. He tells me proudly that there is more union in my state than I know.

281. I would have quit and sued

I would have sued under the grounds that being subjected to FOX News is akin to Racial and Sexual harassment. Even if I were white, I would have sued for both reasons (FOX News being an embarrassment to white people everywhere). Heck, I would throw in a RICO charge just to get 'discovery' against the network.

286. Good. Luck. With. That.

Any attorney (and I should know, I am one in NY and NJ) who would institute an action based on your reasoning would be incompetent, and likely face sanctions, particularly in federal court. In my career, I've both assisted clients with claims before the EEOC and related state and city agencies, and defended companies against charges, and even the very, very liberal employees of these agencies would tell you how they've heard the Fox news allegations for years, and ask if you had any real evidence of discrimination or a hostile work environment.

Well here's what I got so far.

This is, so far, speculation.
.

He's a serious motorhead and racing buff, I think that he would be not to shabby as a mechanic.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x5148006

It's not conclusive but I think it gives an indication.

I believe he works at a dealership but not as a salesman.

His daughter went to buy a car and was looking at a VW dealership but that turned sour so he had to helicopter in and save the day....

Quote
We went to the dealer I've bought cars from for 30 years, the local Chevy dealer. We walked around the lot unmolested and she discovered the Chevy Cruze, and loved it. We checked the used car lot and they had only three, one was a one-owner very recent 4 door LT. They let her TAKE IT HOME on an extended test drive. NONE in the shop, ZERO. That did it. They didn't ask how she was going to pay for it, were GREAT with her, and closed the deal giving her a substantial discount off the advertised price PLUS a HUGE amount for her trade, over and above what it was worth. She had over $2000 left from what she anticipated spending after trading in her old car.

That really is going above and beyond for customer service maybe he works there?

He likes to drive around Lake Hopatcong in the fall to witness the changing of the leaves, he starts on the east side of the lake and takes roughly 40 minutes to come back around to Route 46.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/10021489443

At this point I think he lives in Dover NJ and works at Ayers Chevy. At least Chevys are built by the UAW.

He starts on the east side of the lake, has an affinity for Route 46, Ayers Chevy is on Route 46 and their is a VW dealership just a bit to the northeast.

I find amusement in the egregious use of the phrase "public space" -

Guess what, 'morans' ?

No spaces in a private business are public. Customers and other visitors are allowed in them because the owner of the business permits it, and the owners can revoke permission at any time. The owner could line his walls with crucifixes and have a 60 inch flastscreen tuned into INSP 24/7 and there is nothing you or anyone else can do about it, save for choosing to not patronize the business.

I really hope this action results in a Wallduding, but I suspect that it is entirely fictitious.

Nuclear Unicorn goes on a righteous rant...

I had to go check it out. This idiot started in with a soon-to-be-banned newb with:

Quote
FoxNewsSucks (261 posts)

36. Not at all

I don't appreciate having Fox "news" forced upon me. I've changed the channel many times. Deleted it. Blocked it.

It's not news. It's lies, hatemongering and propaganda. You can watch it in your home if you want, but don't expect me or anyone else to put up with it anywhere else.

Change it. Always.

Quote
Nuclear Unicorn (7,672 posts)

160. So if people want to block a known racist like Al Sharpton they have a right to do so

even if they intrude on other people's rights and property; because this is how we form a civil society.

Quote
FoxNewsSucks (261 posts)

284. Al Sharpton's show is not the equivalent of the entire Fox "news" network

Amazing, how many people on a supposedly liberal site defend and take as a given that a Foxtard Beckerhead has some kind of "right" to impose Fox upon everyone else within range of a public TV.

Well, sorry, but I and others have a "right" to turn that crap OFF. I can tell you from experience, deleting/blocking ends up being much the only way to go. Teabaggers are addicted to Fox. They don't give up, even if whoever put the TV in a public place, waiting room, or break room changes it.

Now the post you excerpted:

Quote
Nuclear Unicorn (7,672 posts)

323. Exposure to an opinion is not imposing an opinion.

If you don't want Beck on the TV turn him off -- just make sure it is your own TV. You don't get to be a self-appointed censor of all social morality to physically impose your personal dictates on other people who are free to make up their own minds.

Quote
Well, sorry, but I and others have a "right" to turn that crap OFF.

No you don't. My husband doesn't watch TV news from any network (neither do I) but if you messed with his stuff with that attitude he'd probably break your hand -- and I'd post his bail.

Quote
I can tell you from experience, deleting/blocking ends up being much the only way to go. Teabaggers are addicted to Fox. They don't give up, even if whoever put the TV in a public place, waiting room, or break room changes it.

So, it's your opinion that Teabaggers are so mind-numbed they have to be governed with dictatorial power. That says so much about you and how their perception of you is probably validated. What do you do for an encore, burning Bibles while proposing using the military to go house-to-house looking for guns?

Try minding your own damned business for a change. You'd be amazed at just how significant a portion of the population that eagerly looks forward to you doing so.

Here's a hint -- they watch Fox because they reject you. Any channel on the satellite is four little button presses away. They choose not to watch MSNBC or any other station. And truth be told, I'd rather engage someone who chooses to watch Fox then someone who watches the bilge coming off of MTV.

Here's another hint -- if mere exposure to an opinion could sway them then the only thing you have proven is that YOUR fellows and followers are nothing more than mind-numbed idiots. If you want a camp filled with independent thinkers then be prepared for the eventuality you will require something beyond childish foot-stomping to win their affection.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."
