Maher - and Dems/Progs generally - have a lot to worry about:
* Anyone who has watched the MSM polling shenanigans know that until 2016 they gamed their polls until September and October, when they backed off the sample and tendentious questions games and by the end of October became fairly realistic; and then came Trump, and the MSM gamed their polls to the end, hoping to discourage Trump voters;
* Whatever the cause, Biden comes across as someone who cannot be allowed to speak off-script; this uncertainty is the reason many are urging Biden not to do a debate with Trump; questions to Biden would be difficult to control, and with Trump participating the temptation for Biden to ad lib would be great;

The Dems' Covid-19 Narrative is Fragile, Part 1; currently there are three Covid-19 vaccines in the final pre-release test phase; the chance that one, the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine being released for use in October are very high; the chances that Trump will be able to announce that the Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines are likely to be released before the end of 2020 are similarly very high; this will be disastrous for the Dems for three reasons
1.) The public fear the Dems are playing will be significantly reduced;
2.) The Dems'
Trump Did Nothing narrative will crumble when people realize that those vaccines did not come from nowhere and that the Trump Administration had been working with the vaccine companies for many months;
3.) The Dems will have a trilemma in their response choices: ignoring the vaccines lets Trump guide people's realizations; admitting their narrative was wrong undoes months of anti-Trump hits and many people will realize that the Dems were lying, knowingly; denigrating the vaccine(s) as untested or ineffective is easily shown to be false (e.g.

), will make the Dems look ugly, and will have international complications;

The Dems' Covid-19 Narrative is Fragile, Part 2; Trump's announcement last week of the convalescent plasma treatment will prove to be the beginning of a flood of treatment approvals; antivirals such as Gilead's remdesivir are coming (the FDA issued an EUA on the 28th allowing the use of remdesivir in any Covid-19 patient, and other antivirals are not far behind); multiple anti-cytokine storm medications are coming soon; multiple plasma-based hyperimmune globulin treatments (such as have been used for decades against hepatitis B) are coming soon.
