I have not watched significant portions of political conventions in over 30 years, if I ever have. But what I'm hearing from obviously partisan sources is that where the Dem convention was, "We're circling the crapper and we hate
Bogey-Trump!" the R convention has started very upbeat, "The country is making progress working through problems and will win!"
I haven't yet seen DUpipo's reactions to Sunday's convalescent plasma announcement, but it's likely to be the first downpour in a storm of therapies' and vaccines' announcements. The Trump Administration has been working with a lot of pharmaceuticals companies and research institutions (the convalescent plasma effort was overseen by the Mayo Clinic) on a lot of approaches for treatments and vaccines since late January (that I know of). A lot of those are now well advanced in the final stages of testing and approaching approval. The Dems bet their farm on their, "Trump did nothing," lie, and now reality is a flood poised to drown their farm.
