Our beloved media gave the convicted felon yet more free airtime to campaign after the verdict.
They let him repeat, yet again, his completely made up nonsense lies about the whole thing being a disgrace, rigged, "conflicted" judge, etc.
with a digression for some reason into xenophobia about criminals coming across the borders because what's a Donnie rant without at least some bigotry.
I flipped around channels so I may have missed it, but it seemed to me that they never really challenged this preposterous claim. They just give him the airtime to say whatever he wants. It's not even news, because they then repeated his claim that the trial was rigged and said he said basically what he had said every single day of the trial.
So why air it 15 times or whatever?? I know, I know, because the first rule of msm is must promote Donnie.
How is it that they can't bring themselves to say that literally every defendant at trial claims to be innocent and quite a lot of them insist they're being railroaded.
The fact is Donnie has given no real reason to think he got treated in any way worse than any other convict. But the media cannot bring themselves to say it's the same story. He's just a criminal. Why can't they treat him like one?
They buried Hillary over a non-crime they could even bother to charge her with. Donnie's now got 34 felony convictions with many more counts pending in 3 more trials, on top of corporate fraud, rape, and defamation x2. When will they give him the Hillary treatment???
I did hear one reporter ask him if he was going to drop out, but I didn't hear any follow up like that afterwards.
Robert De Niro won’t be receiving the Service to America Leadership Award from the NAB Leadership Foundation after all.
“While we strongly support the right of every American to exercise free speech and participate in civic engagement, it is clear that Mr. De Niro’s recent high-profile activities will create a distraction from the philanthropic work that we were hoping to recognize,” said NAB spokesman Alex Siciliano in a statement, confirming that the award has been rescinded.
“To maintain the focus on service of the award winners, Mr. De Niro will no longer be attending the event.”
The Celebration of Service to America Awards will be held at a venue in Washington next Tuesday.
