What I'm thankful for

Spending Thanksgiving with my family that is all Democrats. So no pain in the ass relatives or that drunk uncle telling us what day is trash day and Trump is the greatest ever.

Thank the Lord or whatever pasta monster in space.

I know some unfortunate DU'ers aren't so lucky. But remember, smile, be merry since we kicked their asses two weeks ago.

It's going to be a meager Thanksgiving.
No body to buy the turkey.
If by chance they score a free one, they would expect someone else to cook it for them.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Jeez, who cares and/or even gets into political arguments at family gatherings?  Recall a couple of times my brother in law & some of us would be enjoying a scotch & cigar after Thanksgiving dinner.  We might comment briefly on politics.  Mostly superficial sports stuff, work things, family, etc.

Baffles me that people are so consumed by politics and unhinged hatred during every waking hour.
