Officials: U.S. Aware of Hasan Efforts to Contact al Qaeda (Updated)

So, after 9/11, Bush & Co. kept us safe for 7 years...Just 11 months into the Bronze statue's presidency, we have a terrorist act on a US Military base(or post).
I fear this may just be the beginning..and US al Quaeda cells are going active.

When I went to my Navy schools way back in 1975, there were Kuwaiti, Arabic, Iraqi, and Iranian students that the Navy was training to work on airplanes. With exception of the Kuwaiti, all of the others ALWAYS caused problems on the base. Didn't like them then and still don't.
