Agreed and remember, don't shoot the messenger as I didn't produce this list. Certainly "The Addams Family" belongs much higher on the list because of the classic riff.

Drafe Hoblin:
Rolling Stone is ridiculous.

I immediately noticed that 'Secret Agent Man' was missing from the list.

No 'Rawhide', 'Perry Mason',  'Highway Patrol',  '77 Sunset Strip' ... etc.  Unbelievable.

I see this and think how few new shows that I see (which admittedly isn't very many, I haven't even heard of many of the shows on the list whose year starts with a 2) don't have much of, if any theme songs.  Just a few notes into the opening scene, while credits show at the bottom of the screen.  Short attention spans are to blame, IMHO.

Definitely several that Rawhide and Perry Mason should replace.

Eupher:
It's a Brit program and thus isn't "eligible" but the theme music to the 60s The Avengers was catchy.

Henry Mancini wrote the theme to Peter Gunn, which was another good one.

SVPete:
"Angela", the theme from Taxi is only #63? ::)
