--- Quote ---A man who was seen crushing a Metropolitan Police Department officer in a door frame during the Jan. 6 Capitol riot has been convicted of nine offenses, seven of them felonies, the Justice Department said Tuesday. Patrick McCaughey III, 25, of Ridgefield, Connecticut, and two others were convicted on multiple charges in a bench trial by U.S. District Judge Trevor McFadden, an appointee of former President Trump.

Tristan Chandler Stevens, 26, of Pensacola, Florida, and David Mehaffie, 63, of Kettering, Ohio, were found guilty of five felony charges and two felony charges, respectively.

Dropping this here because 1) expecting eruptions of cheers from the moonbats over every conviction they can squeeze out of J6 and 2) I noticed something missing in this article and a few brief searches.  No mentions of affiliations with any evil right wing militias, no lists of his violent and racist social media profiles or even what party he's registered with.  Could be none of those exist and therefore were just left out or (put on tinfoil hat) could be his profiles don't match the narrative, and therefore must be covered?  Honestly, my money is on the former, but we live in a world where the latter can't be ruled out, now can it?

Eupher:
A J6 defendant need not be affiliated with any organization to have the rug pulled out from under him. Strolling through the capitol building and taking selfies is all that need to be done to qualify for a felony charge.

What blows my mind is the obvious and clear violation to these defendants' constitutionally protect rights -- speedy trial being the most egregious. Sticking them in the D.C. hellhole, refusing them legal counsel, all of that should be bulldozed by the so-called "human rights" organizations that aren't worth the powder to blow them to hell. ACLU, in particular.
