Ghislaine Maxwell Found Guilty on Sex-Trafficking Charges
« on: December 30, 2021, 06:00:19 AM »
Well, hell. Knock me over with a feather. I would've thought by now she'd have been suicided. Still might happen, since there's no mention of Slick Willie in all the fun and games with Epstein and his girls.

You simply can't tell me that none of this came up in the trial.

Quote
NEW YORK—After five days of deliberation, on Dec. 29, a jury found Ghislaine Maxwell guilty on five of the six sex-trafficking charges brought against her in federal court.

Maxwell was found guilty on the following charges:

Count One: Conspiracy to Entice Minors to Travel to Engage in Illegal Sex Acts
Count Three: Conspiracy to Transport Minors With Intent to Engage in Criminal Sexual Activity
Count Four: Transportation of a Minor With Intent to Engage in Criminal Sexual Activity
Count Five: Conspiracy to Commit Sex Trafficking of Minors
Count Six: Sex Trafficking of Minors
The jury found her not guilty on count two: Enticement of a Minor to Travel to Engage in Illegal Sex Acts.

Earlier in the day, the jurors had requested transcripts of five witness testimonies. The jurors were off for two days for the Christmas holiday and were originally scheduled to have two days off for New Year’s, but Judge Alison Nathan requested they be available to work through them.

At 4:57 p.m., all parties were assembled in the courtroom, and Nathan told them, “We have our verdict.” She asked everyone to remain seated and calm and reminded them that there were federal marshals in the room in case they were needed. After the verdict was read, she thanked everyone in the room and told them they were adjourned.

The testimony of “Jane,” who testified how her abuse by Maxwell and deceased financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein started when she was 14, was directly related to counts one through four.

Each of the nonconspiracy charges contained elements (up to four), and if the jury decided just one of them wasn’t satisfied in the nonconspiracy charges, then Maxwell was not guilty of the entire charge.

Maggy Krell, a human rights attorney, a former prosecutor in the California Office of the Attorney General, and author of the forthcoming book on sex trafficking “Taking Down Backpage,” had anticipated a quick verdict.

“In my experience, holiday jurors tend to be decisive,” she told The Epoch Times. “And I don’t think this case was overly complicated.

“You don’t learn in law school when jurors are coming back.”

Krell is aware of the grooming techniques of potential victims the prosecution presented in its case.

“That’s how grooming works. It’s a classic technique of predators, and it’s totally ubiquitous,” she said.

Krell said that even though the Maxwell case involves famous, wealthy people and private jets, “In a lot of ways, it’s a very basic sex-trafficking case that’s playing out throughout the country, because the techniques are so classic from the trafficker’s playbook, and that’s the grooming,” she said.

As a former prosecutor, Krell knows how dubious a jury can be.

“It only takes one juror to not agree,” she said. “Finding 12 people to agree is challenging.”

As for sentencing, “some of these counts have 10-year mandatory minimums,” said Krell. “The judge [will] have to determine what she deserves under these circumstances.

“Judges tend to not go light on defendants like this,” she said.

Sentencing will be in 2022.

She is a sick puppy in so many disgusting ways. It sounds like Epstein had a Manson-like hold on her and she fed his ephebophilia with under-age girls, hoping that would win his something-or-other. Needless to say Epstein USED her addiction to get what he really wanted.

If there were a museum for monstrous utterly amoral people, GM would belong in the Elizabeth Bathory Wing (not the Lenin-Hitler-Stalin-Mao Wing).
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

The prosecution limited what evidence they presented, her "black book" will be kept secret via a court deal, and the judge re-sealed records after the trial. There's something to be said for prosecutors not belaboring their point, but it does make you wonder.

If there were a museum for monstrous utterly amoral people, GM would belong in the Elizabeth Bathory Wing (not the Lenin-Hitler-Stalin-Mao Wing).

Jaco Booyens, who is known for fighting sex traffickers and knows a lot more about all of that than most people, made comments on BlazeTV's "The News and Why it Matters" a couple months ago. He offers another take to this story.

GM's father, Robert Maxwell, a very rich and powerful man who was no stranger to corruption and scandal himself, used his daughter as a tool to recruit Epstein for various financial purposes. Epstein was essentially a nobody until Robert Maxwell introduced him to his daughter. Things went south from there.

The upshot is, GM was in a position to push Epstein toward his crimes. She is a lot more of a criminal than Epstein was, at least initially, Booyens asserted.

Ghislaine Maxwell’s little black book sealed by court

Note: An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated that Maxwell's "little black book" was sealed following the trial. It was in fact sealed in early December.

With the verdict of the Ghislaine Maxwell trial coming in on Wednesday evening, a number of the documents used in the case, like Maxwell's infamous little black book, have been reportedly sealed by the court.

Most prominently, the little black book which contained the names and contact details of around 2,000 people will be sealed, with only a limited amount of material being released, according to The Times.

Epstein Victim: 'Maxwell Did Not Act Alone - Others Must Be Held Accountable'
https://neonnettle.com/news/17886-epstein-victim-maxwell-did-not-act-alone-others-must-be-held-accountable-

Quote
Deceased child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein's most outspoken victim has responded to the guilty verdict of accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell by demanding that "others must be held accountable.

"Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who alleges she was was trafficked as a child and raped by Epstein and his powerful friends, including Prince Andrew, warned that "Maxwell did not act alone.

"Maxwell was found guilty on five of the six counts of child sex trafficking charges against her as the jury came to a verdict on Wednesday evening.

Giuffre tweeted on Wednesday that she had finally been granted the justice her "soul yearned for" after a jury of six men and six women found the British socialite guilty.

So true.

Here's another interesting tidbit. Remember when Epstein supposedly killed himself in his jail cell <cough, cough>. And the two schmucks who were supposed to be "guarding" him just sorta conveniently fell asleep? And the cameras mysteriously shut down?

Charges dropped against them. Dereliction of duty, falsification of records, charges dropped.

The more curious thing is the timing of the announcement that those charges were dropped and GM's verdict. There's some rationale in this article, but there's no doubt that the stink of corruption is all over this very convenient "suicide."

Comey's daughter was the lead prosecutor.

And now her career will be advanced for her having done a 'good job'.
