Bring Back The Videos!

What's the story?
Even the most basic forums give the option to embed videos!

And if you think that not allowing videos to be embedded keeps forum members safe .. you may want to rethink that idea!

You can embed malware in any number of ways without using videos.

You can 'implant' malware into urls themselves.
(Just clicking on the youtube link accomplishes the same thing)

The same can be said for embedding in a seemingly harmless file or hidden in a link within the body of a message.
(I notice that the file upload is still functioning?)

You would have to scan for malware ... every link posted to a forum to be halfway protected.
(Still no guarantees)

So, unless I am wrong... (Which I'm Not! Adrian Monk)  :lmao: ...
 about the reason the videos being disabled for safety reasons ...

Why not bring back the videos?

Someone said it was because of the last forum crash.
That isn't a video problem.
