A CVS pharmacy in Washington, DC is being targeted by thieves on such a regular basis that the store is basically empty. A large group of teeneagers is hitting the store so regularly that they’ve even figured out when the store receives new deliveries of goods.

’45 or more’ kids in DC routinely steal from CVS, then ‘stomp on’ food and beverages as shelves remain empty

A group of roughly 45 kids routinely ransack a CVS in Washington, D.C., with many thieves taking the food and beverages and stomping on them, according to a Fox 5 report.

“When you walk into this CVS, you’d think the store is closing because there’s barely anything on the shelves,” Fox 5 reporter Sierra Fox said of a CVS in the Columbia Heights neighborhood of D.C. “In fact, the only items in stock are the ones that are locked up. I did ask an employee what gets stolen the most, and they just laughed and said ‘everything.’”

We all pay in the end.

Democrat Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser complained about the nation’s capital losing about 400 police officers in the past several years, just days before Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, was carjacked at gunpoint.

Bowser had pleaded that the district needs more officers at a recent press conference

“We don’t have the officers that we need, and sadly we’ve lost three to four hundred officers in the last four years,” she said. “We haven’t had officers in our schools, and we have policies that make it difficult to recruit new officers.”

Cueller said he was parking his car in D.C.’s Navy Yard neighborhood, a short distance from the U.S. Capitol Monday evening, when three armed assailants approached and stole his vehicle.

India Orders Canada to Remove over 40 Diplomats From Delhi Embassy

In late September, I reported that India expelled one of Canada’s top diplomats, increasing tensions between the two countries over Canadian accusations that India may have been involved in the killing of a Sikh separatist leader in suburban Vancouver.

Tensions have ramped up yet again. An Indian official reports that Canada has been told to remove about 40 of its 62 diplomats from its embassy in Delhi.

Ottawa has been told by New Delhi that it must repatriate roughly 40 diplomats by October 10, said people familiar with the demand. One person said India had threatened to revoke the diplomatic immunity of diplomats who remain after that date.

[Prime Minister Justin] Trudeau on Tuesday did not confirm how many diplomats had been told to leave but highlighted the importance of having a diplomatic presence in New Delhi because of the dispute between the countries.

“Obviously, we are going through an extremely challenging time with India right now, but that’s why it is so important for us to have diplomats on the ground working with the Indian government and there to support Canadians and Canadian families,” he said.

Canada and India are in a diplomatic war. It stemmed from the Sikh separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar being killed.
