Tell that to the Vatican and Israel. lol
Is there a way for the two to be separated?
Well....lol....technically you are correct that the Vatican is a state, that is governed by the church (of which all its residents are members....unlike any other "State" on earth).......an anomaly left over from the fourth century.
You are incorrect regarding Israel. Though Israel is a "Jewish State", they are governed by a democratically elected Parliament (the Knesset) which is secular, and even has Muslim members, as well as Christian, with an organized set of laws that doesn't always follow Talmudic law. Certainly the Jews are the majority in Israel (and they intend to keep it that way),
freedom of religion is very much a part of Israeli culture and life.....unlike Islamic countries..... There are churches of virtually every major religion in Jerusalem.......how many Christian churches and Synagogues are located in Saudi, Syria, Yemen, Iran, Afganistan, Pakistan, Kuwait, or the UAE........answer, essentually ZERO.
Islam is the ONLY great religion that combines both religion and
mandates a political doctrine when its adherents reach majority status wherever they can. (bolded phrase is the key)
Just like Jeff, you need to do your homework before you come out to play with the adults.....lol
