Obama voices concern about freed Guantanamo inmates

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama said in an interview aired on Monday he worried that detainees freed from the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo, Cuba, might resume attacks on the United States.

But he told NBC News that closure of the prison was a matter of upholding U.S. values and law, and that a failure to do so would ultimately make Americans less secure.

"Can we guarantee that they're not going to try to participate in another attack? No," Obama said. "But what I can guarantee is that if we don't uphold our Constitution and our values, that over time that will make us less safe. And that will be a recruitment tool for organizations like al-Qaeda."

WTF did he think terrorists would do if they were released?  Face it Big Zero, this isn't about "American Values" , and the law, YOU don't give a rat's ass about either. This is all about giving some "hope and Change" to the loony left for their votes.  You know , the ones that support terrorists and hate America.

He's JUST now realizing that these people (term applied loosely) will return to the "jihad"?  They've only SWORN their life to the destruction of non-Muslim society, why shouldn't we trust them to be good?

Hour by hour it's becoming more apparent that there are no adults in the Obama administration, starting with the top of the order.

I simply cannot believe I just read that.  Good grief!  The developmentally disabled adults I work with are smarter than this moron sitting in Oval Office (or maybe not, considering his little "escape" earlier).
