IMHO: Corsi and Manafort are refusing to finger 45 on taking Russian oppo data: Hence, jail.

 
I'm saying that if Mueller had evidence that both of them knew of 45's involvement in russian election hacking, and refused to finger 45, this is exactly how it would look to us from the outside.

But I'm no legal/prosecution/election tampering expert, so there might be less malignant reasons why both are talking jail tonight, just as the dems reclaimed the house and subpoena power.

It all adds up.

or... the entire russian crap is just crap...

Mueller knowing intimate detail of trump-Russia conspiracy and Corsi and Manafort lying about it makes perfect sense to me. But, do I have confirmation bias? Very difficult to be objective about this.

The move makes complete sense if they have done nothing and they know that Mueller has zilch on them.

This move - claiming Manafort lied to Mueller's team - means Mueller's team nuked any value anything Manafort said and as a future witness. IOW, Mueller & Team got nothing they considered as having value from Manafort.

It's possible that Manafort simply told truth Mueller, et al, didn't want to hear or be heard. But where DU's [/i]Trump-Hatred[/i] is concerned, Manafort just became a big, loud, "Womp! Womp!"
