So Trump isn't going to Barbara Bush's funeral because:
He won't be the center of attention?

I don't think it's formal protocol, but it's a long followed custom that First Ladies and former First Ladies attend former First Ladies funerals. But Cyanose being ignorant of this is par for his course.

If he defends the Bush Crime Family and misses Babs "Beautiful Mind" Bush,he either has shit for judgement or he is clueless when it comes to political reality. If he were to say it was raining I would look to verify instead of taking his word for it.
I've been posting on political message boards for a while myself,and been dealing with that cultist behavior since the early days of FR, but I do understand you mean well and thank you for your effort.

I'm not really new here. My old computer died and I lost my password,so I emailed management to try to get my password emailed to me. They never responded,so I re-registered as sneakypete1 instead of sneakypete. I have sent them a couple of emails since to try to restore my original screen name,but never got an answer.

If Donald Trump came, it would be a logistical nightmare as he has to have protection. Melania Trump as she is the First Lady, which is a tradition if a First Lady passed away.

Well, I wasn't her biggest fan and she reportedly really hated Trump for shutting down the Jeb! train in the marshaling yard, but I must admit she did show lots of class and didn't play out her feelings in the media (Which many more should emulate). It would be awkward to say the least if Trump attended, as well as a huge distraction. He is making the most appropriate choice possible in this.
