2008 Campaign Question .... Why the hell are we still in Iraq?

I mean really why are we there?

Outside of oil and billions for bush's friends
why are we there?

It is a bloody nightmare and the unelected chimp
dances on the White House front porch waiting to
meet a person who plans on keeping us there if
he can become President. Why?

Sorry to ramble but a dear friend's son just had
his spring return date dumped .... he is a gunner
on a Humvee. And I have heard all the troops know
that what they are doing is futile and that some of the
Iraqi police & troops use their weapons given to 'em
by Americans against Americans.

God Damn it stop this ****ing useless ass mistake
based on lies. Just stop it.

3. It's the simple questions that stump the war hawks. How many dead? Why? This long?

5. We're still there because we have a moral obligation to withdraw with minimum damage from the murder

and mayhem Dubya has created.

We need to disengage from combat operations very quickly but we'll need to be there for air and logistics support for perhaps a decade.

I just hope history condemns Dubya for his immoral, unjustified invasion of an innocent people.

Are you naturally that stupid or do you have to work at it?

6. It's a way to keep the world in turmoil while trying to keep hugely expensive gallons

of oil in our cars and it's giving them more excuses to pad the pockets of big corporations by having them "rebuild" a country they tore the hell out of. It was all a lie and a delusion of the powerful hoping they could gain more and more power and dominate every square inch of the world.

I pray that someone will stop them.

May it be the citizens of the USA.

7. To save face for Bush's massive cluster****

they have to pretend that the boy king did a good thing and they don't have a ****ing clue what will happen when we leave, except that it will be a bloody mess until they sort their own leadership out.

He can't have a public bloody mess on his watch. He wants someone else to get blamed for his massive **** up.

that is the SOLE and ONLY reason we are there. to make the boy king think he did ok

8. you would think that someone would come forward and call it what it is

a blood for oil scheme and nothing else. If the perpetrators were sacrificing anything at all we would be home a long time ago, hell they never would have gone in in the first place. blood for oil.

It doesn't matter if you were for or against the war before we went in.  I'll put it in simple terms that perhaps even DU'ers can understand...."We broke it so we have to fix it".

Milady, ask them this question . . .

"If it was a mistake, are you saying that the world is better off not knowing about Libya's nuclear program (which they gave up after Iraq was overrun)?"
