41. Yeah. M-16's (especially the earlier ones) jammed very easily. 
 Just a little dirt in the chamber & the empty case wouldn't extract.

You could pour mud in an AK action, shake it out a little, and fire the damn gun. They are simple, cheap looking with lots of stamped parts, kinda underpowered, and as reliable as the sunrise. 
Wrong, dog breath.
The powder used caused a residue build up in the gas reciever tube of the bolt.
Granted, the tolerances of the 16 did have dirt/mud problems.

The ballistic expert weighs in. (is that on the list?)

I have an old friend that does that "THE Google" and "THE Twitter" thing all the time.  But, the thing he says that drives me crazy the most is "I went to THE KrogerS", and I hear Nads saying it in my head every time I read her mindless diatribe.  I think she is making me insane.

I haven't, and consider him a good contender for inclusion among the top primitives (although, obviously, not the top primitive, but somewhere between top primitives 11 through 20).
